We place great value in our partnerships as there is so much talent out there from which to draw but we have chosen to work with top researchers and strategists in the U.S. Without these partners we wouldn’t have the experiences we have had over the last decade working with some delightful clients with diverse projects. Our partners bring perspective and insight that we likely wouldn’t have so we thank them for that. Besides, they make life more interesting and challenging and we feed off their energy!
DADCO principal, David Dodd, is world-renowned for his long-term economic recovery and rebuilding work. He gets communities back on their feet yet beyond what they once were. The disaster becomes the catalyst for a new community with a vision and plan for growth over the next 10 years or beyond.
David most recently was hired by the University of Oklahoma to establish the first disaster resiliency institute in the U.S., creating a curriculum and training to assist communities overcoming natural disasters. There is discussion about additional sites in the U.S. as well as abroad.

Topside co-founders Allen Bell and Darin McAuliffe were at the forefront of developing the entrepreneurial ecosystem in New Orleans that had a huge impact on the “new” New Orleans after the 2005 hurricanes. Their firsthand experience working with startups and early to mid stage growth companies and building the foundation for entrepreneurial growth moved them to form Topside in 2011 so they can help other communities avoid the mistakes and bruises they experienced along the way.
The Topside partnership allows us to bring this talent and additional services to our economic development clients in the form of entrepreneurial strategies, business accelerator programs, and business coaching.
Younger Associates is our partner on workforce development assessments and strategies. The beauty of this partnership is the combined interests and experience in research, strategic planning, and workforce development. Younger principal, Sharon Younger, has a survey team that works in the field to gather workforce and market data in-person from residents in a community. The real time data becomes one of the components in the research and analysis stage for developing a workforce development strategy.
We have also partnered with Younger Associates on primary market research projects for such clients as a local cable television station on a viewer satisfaction survey.
